Construction Coordination

In accordance with the “Baukoordinationsgesetz” (Construction Coordination Law) 1 July 1999, every property owner is obliged to ensure that the general principles of danger prevention with regard to the “ArbeitnehmerInnenschutzgesetz” (Employee Protection Law) are observed. In case more than two employees are both at the same time present on a construction site within the framework of one construction activity, or whenever dangerous construction works are carried out, the property owner is under the obligation to commission a planning coordinator as well as a construction site coordinator. These two functions can be carried out by one and the same person.

The property owner can be exempted from the obligation of commissioning a coordinator if he/she engages a project leader to whom he/she explicitly hands over this obligation.

ASPEKT-DIE PLANER takes over all obligations that the property owner is required to meet in the “Baukoordinationsgesetz” (Construction Coordination Law) and takes care of safety and health protection of all persons involved in the construction process on site.

Foreseeable risks and intended preventative measures are described in the health and safety protection plan. This also includes a coordination plan for all security measures and is in balance with the construction process.
Safe and Efficient Handling of the Construction Process

The planning coordination:
  • Health and safety protection plan
  • Documents for future works according to the “Baukoordinationsgesetz” (Construction Coordination Law)
  • Inclusion of safety related services into the specifications of the implementation planning
  • Coordination of all persons concerned with outline and implementation planning

The construction site coordination:
  • Implementation of measures regarding danger prevention and safety engineering
  • Controlling and updating provisions of the health and safety protection plan
  • Fulfilling informatitive duties in accordance with the “Baukoordinationsgesetz” (Construction Coordination Law)

Within the European Union, the construction industry is the economic sector with the highest number of work-related accidents. Mainly, the reasons for such accidents can be attributed to planning and organisational mistakes.

The experts of ASPEKT-DIE PLANER, in their function as construction coordinators, are the personal contact of the property owner for all safety and health related queries. By means of safety plans and documents and through continuous controls and on site assessments, we take care of a safe, smooth and efficient handling of the construction process.
