Application for Takeover of Pavement Maintenance by the City of Vienna

In the course of profit optimisation, RUSTLER-DIE VERWALTER examines all potential revenues that have not yet been made available, e.g. increase of rent at business transfer, accession or lease. Application for takeover of pavement maintenance by the city of Vienna.

In Vienna, the builder-owner has the obligation to build a proper pavement when erecting an edifice. Consequently, an application for takeover of pavement maintenance by the city of Vienna can be filed. The pavement has to be in accordance with the respective provisions of the “Wiener Bauordnung” (Viennese Building Law), including enactments. Surface covering is distinguished from the boundary.

In general, the following types of pavement are considered to be taken over:
  • Granite paving and clinker pavements constructed before 1930, all pavements constructed before 1883
  • Pavements, where the parking of vehicles is permitted by traffic police enactment
  • Digging of a duly built pavement after official approval has been effected (“Konstatierung”); official notification has to be obtained by application
